Please carefully follow the instructions below before submitting your manuscript to the journal system. Submissions that do not comply may be returned for revision.

1. Manuscript Types

AIJVM publishes:

  • Original research articles
  • Review articles
  • Case studies
  • Technical notes

Authors should select the appropriate type based on the content and methodology of their work.

2. Formatting and Word Limits

  • Language: British English
  • Manuscript Word Limit: Maximum 6,000 words (excluding references). Submissions exceeding this limit require prior approval from the Editorial Board.
  • Title: Maximum 50 words, capitalize each word, center-aligned, bold, Times New Roman, size 14
  • Text Font: Times New Roman, size 12
  • Abstract Word Limit: Maximum 750 words
  • References Style: Vancouver
  • Layout: Manuscripts must be typed on one side of the paper in 1-column format with single line spacing

3. Manuscript Structure

Authors may adapt the structure according to their research design and findings. Standard sections include:

3.1 Title

  • Maximum 50 words, capitalize each word
  • Center-aligned, bold, Times New Roman, size 14

3.2 Author(s) Address

3.3 Abstract

  • Maximum 750 words
  • Recommended structure: Background/Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion

3.4 Keywords

  • Provide 3–5 keywords for indexing and searchability

3.5 Introduction

  • Clearly state the research problem or question
  • Summarize background literature and rationale
  • Explain the study’s significance and objectives

3.6 Methods

  • Describe study design, materials, and procedures in sufficient detail for reproducibility
  • Include ethical approvals where applicable
  • Specify statistical methods, software, or analytical tools used

3.7 Results

  • Present findings clearly and logically
  • Include tables and figures in appropriate positions within the text
  • Avoid interpreting results in this section

3.8 Discussion

  • Interpret results in the context of existing literature
  • Highlight significance, implications, and limitations
  • Suggest directions for future research

3.9 Conclusion

  • Provide a concise summary of main findings
  • Emphasize the study’s contribution to the field

3.10 References

  • Follow Vancouver style
  • Cite all sources referenced in the text using square brackets [1]
  • Manage references with Mendeley or equivalent software

4. Figures and Tables

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 10 for English; Traditional Arabic, size 12 for Arabic
  • Figures and tables should be editable (not embedded as images) and inserted in the appropriate position within the manuscript, close to where they are first cited
  • High-quality images are required
  • MS Office figures: submit in native formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Non-MS Office figures: JPEG, minimum 300 dpi

5. Cover Letter

A separate Cover Letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief must be submitted in DOC or PDF format. It should:

  • Briefly introduce the manuscript and highlight its significance
  • Confirm originality and non-submission elsewhere
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest or special considerations

6. Acknowledgments

Only acknowledge scientific, financial, or technical assistance. Routine departmental or secretarial support should not be included.

7. Conflict of Interest

Disclose all relationships or interests. If none, include:

“The authors declare no conflicts of interest related to this study.”

8. Ethical Requirements

All submissions must comply with international ethical standards. Details: Ethics

  • Human or animal research must have appropriate ethical approval
  • Authors must declare funding sources and conflicts of interest

9. Submission System

9.1 Online Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

9.2 Required Files

  • Main manuscript file (anonymous): Prepared for peer review without author names or affiliations
  • Main manuscript file (with author details): Including full names, affiliations, and corresponding author information
  • Cover letter or statement of originality: If required
  • Plagiarism and AI reports: Generated via Turnitin

9.3 Submission Steps

  1. Register or log in to the OJS system
  2. Start a new submission
  3. Agree to journal policies and ethical standards
  4. Enter manuscript metadata
  5. Upload required files
  6. Review and confirm submission

10. Peer Review Process and Timeline

All manuscripts undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers. Details: Peer Review

  • Typical review timeline: 6–8 weeks
  • Authors may be asked to revise based on reviewer feedback

11. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors must submit a formal waiver request via the electronic form

13. Fast Track Publishing Policy

  • Fast Track manuscripts undergo full double-blind peer review
